Volunteer Income Tax Assistance: The Frontera Nogales VITA and Asset Building Coalition opened the Nogales site on Tuesday, January 25 at Literacy Volunteers, 125 E Madison in downtown Nogales. Our goal is to surpass last year’s results of 464 returns. The VITA site is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 PM to 8 PM and certain Saturdays through April 18.
This year, NCD has a core of 16 volunteers including 10 tax preparers who have received over 18 hours of IRS training. These individuals freely give their time to help us with this very important project and we wish to extend our sincere gratitude for their dedication and efforts..
